A FAMILY IN Erie IS WORKING TO START OVER...AFTER AN EARLY MORNING FIRE DESTROYED THEIR HOME OVER THE WEEKEND.

Bernadette Wyant and Mike jones HAD JUST FALLEN BACK ASLEEP ON SUNDAY MORNING.

THEIR TWO KIDS AND 11 YEAR OLD GRAND DAUGHTER HAD RETURNED HOME EARLY FROM A SLEEP OVER, and THAT'S WHEN A SMALL FIRE BROKE OUT ON THE STOVE.

EVERYONE MADE IT OUT SAFELY, BUT LEFT THEIR PHONES INSIDE, LEAVING NO WAY TO CALL FOR HELP.

BY THE TIME FIREFIGHTERS ARRIVED, HEAVY SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE HOME.

THE FAMILY HASN'T BEEN HOME YET AND IS STAYING IN A HOTEL WHILE THEY FIGURE OUT THE NEXT STEPS.

THEIR OLDEST DAUGHTER SET UP A GO FUND ME PAGE SOMETHING THEY ARE GRATEFUL FOR.

EVERYTHING ON THE FIRST FLOOR IS GONE, INCLUDING PRESENTS AND DECORATIONS.

REPLACING THEM WILL BE HARD BUT BERNADETTE LOST ITEMS SHE'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO GET BACK.
